26.1 Listing symbols

The parse diagnostics should include a facility for naming symbols, iand one for listing the symbols in a grammar, with their names. The symbols will have IDs from 0 to the highest symbol ID, which can be found using the marpa_g_highest_symbol_id() method (see marpa_g_highest_symbol_id). At the highest verbosity level, in addition to the symbol name, the symbol listing facility should display

• the symbol ID;
• whether the symbol is accessible (see marpa_g_symbol_is_accessible);
• whether the symbol is nullable (see marpa_g_symbol_is_nullable);
• whether the symbol is nulling (see marpa_g_symbol_is_nulling);
• whether the symbol is productive (see marpa_g_symbol_is_productive);
• whether the symbol is the start symbol (see marpa_g_symbol_is_start);
• whether the symbol is a terminal (see marpa_g_symbol_is_terminal);
• whether the symbol is a counted symbol (see marpa_g_symbol_is_counted); and
• the rank of the symbol (see marpa_g_symbol_rank).
